Hi, my name is Lex. I am 21 with aspirations to inspire people through my life stories, and realizations. Growing into the woman I am now definitely took a lot of work. It's hard to evolve from the person you used to be to become the person you want to be when you're used to who you are. A question I used to always ask myself is:

Why does it seem like when  finally I am comfortable with my place in life things begin to change all over again?  Well... I would pray and search for answers until I stumbled across a post on Instagram that said "Life begins at the end of your comfort zone" . Such a short quote with much power behind it.

This is when I realized that you can't grow when you're in a comfortable position. If I continue doing the things that I'm used to doing without pushing myself to do more, or if I didn't face the many challenges that shaped (and still is shaping) me then I will not be the woman I am now. See... We always see the people on television living the 'Lavish Lifestyle', but fail to notice the struggles they had to endure to make it to the point in life that they are in now.

Do you really think they were just given the success they have without putting in work?

When you work hard at something and reap the benefits of your work, it feels amazing oppose to just reaping benefits something you didn't work as hard for.

One of my favorite success stories come from a man that is very well known for his scientific success. Albert Einstein- Most of us take Einstein's name and use it as a synonym for genius, but he didn't always show such promise. Einstein did not speak until he was four and did not read until he was seven, causing his teachers and parents to think he was mentally handicapped, slow and anti-social. Eventually, he was expelled from school and was refused admittance to the Zurich Polytechnic School. It might have taken him a bit longer, but most people would agree that he caught on pretty well in the end, winning the Nobel Prize and changing the face of modern physics. Click here for more.

Many people will doubt you, and not believe in you but it's important that you KEEP GOING.

The most popular question is: When will things ever change?

You may not notice a huge change, but you are not in the same place that you once were. Most powerful thing you can do is remain positive by showing gratitude, and acknowledge the beauty in the struggle. Realize that there are other people in far more worse situations than you, and you will receive everything you put out.

Another quote that I am in love with says: "If you want your life to be different you have to start reacting to life different" -Bryant McGill

Change is inevitable, and the beauty of life is that we are many people before we finally become the person we are meant to be. Realizing that every circumstance that you're placed in is only to shape you into the the person that you need to be in order to move forward in your destiny.

Stay positive, and most of all... KEEP GOING!
