Psalms 19:1 says, “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.”(KJV)  All we need to do is look around and see the wonders that He has made.

The word ‘declare’ in Hebrew gives the idea of adding up and celebrating.  When we look into the heavens, there is so much to see, that God’s glory is magnified.  The heavens themselves shout of the glory of God.

The sky also shows what He has done.  Take time to look up; the beautiful colour of the sky; the white clouds that float overhead.  Even storm clouds have a beauty that shout the glory of God.

Try to to consider all the stars in the night sky.  Just looking up at them fills me with awe.  The sheer number of them astounds me.  What amazes me even more is the statement of Psalms 147:4; “He counts the number of the stars; he names all of them.” (NET)  Not only has God made the innumerable stars in the night sky, He has counted them and named them.  Scientists agree there are more than 200 billion stars our Milky Way galaxy alone.  NASA states that the total number of stars in the sky is uncountable, but God knows.  Not only did He create and count all those stars, He created and knows me, and you.
