For the fourth year in a row, the team from Firewire won the Surf Aid Cup at the iconic First Point at Surfrider Beach in Malibu, California. The event raised an extraordinary $125,000 dollars for humanitarian organisation Surf Aid.

In the past five years, the Surf Aid Cup has raised more than $500,000 dollars for Surf Aid.

All funds raised contribute to Surf Aids mother and child health programs in remote areas of Indonesia in Nias, The Mentawaii Islands, Sumbawa and Sumba. The funds raised by the Surf Aid Cup in Malibu truely saves lives in Indonesia. With a hands up not a hand out philosophy, Surf Aid works with simple, but high impact solutions including clean water, access to basic health care and improved nutrition. This show's with event's like this at Malibu that surfers can make a real difference and give back to places they love.
