We are the body of Christ on the Earth. Literally we are the hands and feet of God. There are countless scriptures that speak of the Power and Authority given to man by God to see this world impacted for Christ.

We have all been given the ministry of reconciliation to see those without God, come to know Him in a powerful way. This is the whole purpose of the Holy Ghost being sent to us. Acts 1:8 teaches us that miracle working power was given to each one of us to be a witness. This definitely benefits us as believers, as we now have full access to Gods Spirit to live a life of health and safety. However the greatest purpose for believers having such mighty power is to see the lost won for Christ.

Another way scripture says the world will know that God is real and with us is the unity of the saints. What is this unity? How could that possibly impact a lost and dying world?
Let's take a look what Paul said to the Philippian Church.

Phil 1:27 Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;

Paul says to "only" let your conversation be that of The Word. Could you imagine if everyone that said they were a Christian had the same answers concerning the Word of God. Often I hear the worlds answers to spiritual problems. Carnal, humanistic answers to what the Bible says is a spiritual problem. Could you imagine if we just spoke what God spoke. "I am the healed of the Lord", "I can do all things through God who strengthens me". Imagine powerful, bold answers like that. People will begin to see people that are strong and immovable.
Philippians 1:27 continues to teach us to strive towards having faith in that Word in which we are speaking. That means the situation might look bleak in the natural, but the truth (which is scripture) says otherwise, so we must fight to believe what God says till faith is released into that situation.

Mostly the world see's division amongst Christians, fighting and warring against one another. Often they see powerless Christians complaining and whining about how hard life is. However this is not a true reflection of Christianity. I'm in no way claiming afflictions and difficulties don't happen to Christians. The truth is however, as we grow In The Lord we should be strengthened every time we choose to trust God and His Word over our circumstances. This means, the same problem might come up, but we are not as moved emotionally as we once would have been.

This comes from understanding God and the Covenant He made, to walk with HIs people and protect them. My purpose in writing this is to encourage believers to strive towards receiving God and HIs Word over the circumstances and problems in life. That faith will go out and begin to bring the promises of God to pass. In Deuteronomy chapter 8 we learn that the covenant promises of God will show the nations that God is with us. This is how the world will be won to Jesus as we all speak the same Word and strive to believe it by faith.

I believe it's every Christians responsibility to learn and receive their new identity in Christ. The identity that causes you to become a powerhouse for the Lord. Let's go forth and win this world for Jesus by displaying it through our over abundant lives.
John 10:10 teaches us that the devil kills, steals and destroys, but then it says "but God came to give us a life and a life of abundance". That's Great news and it means we literally are just strangers passing through this world to the next. The problems that the world faces don't need to be ours. We have a God we can cast those onto and see victory by faith into every area of our lives.

Be blessed today
