The vast majority of people alive today are living their lives effected by the world instead of living in the effectual, holy and righteous blessings of God. What does this mean? It means that, instead of effecting the world, the world is effecting them and as a result, they are  suffering and causing the suffering of others. They have denied themselves the privilege of being a Child of God, because they have been infected by the lies of the enemy.

Lies are a disease that spreads within us, as a result of not trusting and obeying God.  The infection can start anywhere information enters our body, through our senses. We may see, hear, touch, smell or taste something that causes us to react contrary to the Will and Way of God, because the enemy attaches a lie to it.

For instance, he may tell us to go reveal what we've seen or heard about someone; or that we can't do without the taste of sugar or salt; or that you crave the smell and taste of your favorite wine or liquor; or that because sex feels good and you desire it, it is alright to have it with anyone and even to force yourself upon another against their will.

Once the lies enter us, they  are absorbed into our being to become a part of us, making us an environment for unclean spirits. We become the host for a parasite, a possessive spirit, that feeds off of our weaknesses, habits, addictions, sicknesses, diseases and sin.  The adversary feeds us lies waiting and watching for them to take hold and put us under his control.

Once again, we come upon Satan mimicking God. He plants words inside of us, just like God, because he knows the power of words. However, unlike the Word of God, his words are an anesthesia to put us to sleep, while he invades our bodies, or a decoy to distract, delay, detain, deviate, instill distrust and detach us from God.

The enemy emits a  toxic poison that spreads through our system to destroy us. Still, we choose to put our trust in the world and believe that one little lie won't hurt us or one little word uttered in bitterness and malice against another does no harm to us. We can identify the enemy's work by the fear, chaos and destruction surrounding it.

As we know, lies were created to put fear into the Jews and send Jesus to the cross; for they could find nothing valid to prove he had done anything wrong. He had not done anything wrong. Still, lies are infectious and spread rapidly, so they produced the effects the Pharisees and Sadducees were hoping for to send Jesus to what they believed was certain death upon the cross.

God allows Satan to continue doing the exact same thing that got him thrown out of Heaven, that is, to spread lies and discord. Then, when the time or season is right, God turns what was meant for evil into GOOD.

Listen again, my Brothers and Sisters, just in case you still haven't grasped the POWER of these words. You may understand the meaning of the words, but have you grasped their POWER? GOD TURNS WHAT IS MEANT FOR EVIL INTO GOOD.But do not forget that it is done within His Will and Way, within the time and season He has appointed.

This statement should be a permanent billboard in our minds to remind us each day to TRUST God and never lose faith and hope. It should be our first thought when adversity, trials, temptation, tragedy, sorrow and pain come our way. Write it upon your hearts and let it forever echo throughout your mind and KNOW...know without DOUBT, that through His power within us, WE can do the same, if we allow Him to use us.

Lies are like an infectious cancer within the body, destroying us from the inside-- out, but they do not have to destroy us. Yes, they do harm to us and the people around us, but they can be NEUTRALIZED and EXTRACTED!

Jesus is the the Truth and we all know that the truth can be painful. Jesus is the Way and we know that the Way can be difficult and people get lost and even die along the way. Jesus is the Life and not many people even journey this far, because they can't accept the Truth or follow Jesus along the Way to have abundant and eternal Life. This is the bitter that we don't want to taste. The Truth, The Way and The Life, but we say we love Jesus.

"He's Sweet I Know," we sing, but we must digest Him and taste the bitter that cleanses and purges us to make us a sweet aroma. We must surrender and offer ourselves willing to serve and obey our Father.

Jesus is portrayed as being meek and mild; that He is, but...

Hebrews 4:12 (KJV) tells us:

12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

PEOPLE, we, who are ALL of the same flesh and blood of Adam, created in the image of GOD! Brethren, until we die to self and surrender our will, like Adam and Eve, after eating from the Tree of Knowledge and discovering they were naked...knowing of sin, we will always be running for cover, traveling incognito, hiding within the flesh, unable to be who and what we were created to be.

Can we bare our souls, or must we always be deceivers behind a facade, hiding, lest anyone see that what really lies within does not resemble The Mind of Christ? We can be great pretenders, having a deceitful heart so that others perceive us as good. Yet, we are the ones who have been deceived and kept from growing, because, we refuse to surrender all and abide in Jesus.

But, GOD still sees. While you deceive yourself into believing you must deceive others, your Father and Jesus see. They  see and know what is in the hearts and minds of others. Although, They see a heart full of fear, lies and pride, that waits to be truly loved, it must come to know holiness and righteousness, and that demands accountability.

If we truly love Jesus, we will obey our Father. If we truly love Jesus, we will drop our nets--our will, and follow Jesus, taking the bitter with the sweet.

The Word of God will skillfully cut through lies like a surgeon to extract and cast them out. The Word of God will EXPOSE men plotting evil schemes, lying and playing his neighbors for a fool!

The RIGHTEOUS do not fear the hand of God, or His chastisement. It may be painful, but they count it all as joy, for having been freed. They fear not; for God knows how much we can bear.

Let not your heart be troubled, when you have been freed from a lie. Rejoice, again I say, rejoice!

God uses the wise, who fear Him, to cut into the hearts of others with Truth, to free them of lies and darkness within. But, the wicked man who continues to lie and plan evil against his neighbors, having no fear of God, will be cut off. He shall not go unpunished.

Now, come with me and abide in Jesus so that we may look past the flesh of others and deep within to see their heart and soul. Come with me to dispel the lies holding them captive and keeping them from God's Kingdom.

NOW, follow me! To my Father's House, where there is peace. Jesus leads us as we conquer the perils and evils of this world. Let us not falter on our journey, by failing to love one another or to lift one another up, if they fall. Let us stop and help the poor wayfarer on our way. Let us break bread with our brother who opens his door unto us and drink of the cleansing wine that symbolizes the sacrificial blood Jesus shed for our sins.

Sometimes, when Jesus' Disciples didn't understand something, they asked questions, because, they thirsted for the Truth. However, like many students, they were often hesitant, because, they either didn't want to disappoint Jesus with their lack of understanding and/or they didn't want to confess to their ignorance or confusion.

We find this is an attribute in people who are very proud,

they do not want to confess to their ignorance or confusion. In both instances, their pride gets in the way. Yet, relationships cannot be based on fear, guilt, shame, distrust, deception, concealment or ignorance, which ALL are borne of PRIDE and can be translated into LIES to keep us from Truth, knowledge,  wisdom and producing GOOD fruit. These tools of the enemy forge and strengthen chains of bondage and separate us from God and one another.

Jesus was trying to teach the disciples to have relationships based on perfect love. He constantly looked into their hearts because they had learned to relate to others in the manner of those in the world, concealing things in their heart, because, they were not made perfect in love.

Being made perfect in love has a far greater effect and purpose than we realize. It is freeing and empowering, changing the way we relate to others on every level. What do I mean by every level?

When there is something that we want or have need of, we are more apt to be open and ask for it. Well, this becomes a BIG problem when, pride is in the mix, giving us feelings of entitlement. Your pride will tell you that you're entitled to do things YOUR way to get what you want. Your way is most often based on FEELINGS.

Pride will lead us to act or react to people, based on our perception of them, feelings about them and expectations of them.  Whereas, a RELATIONSHIP, borne out of perfect love produces fruit of God's Holy Spirit. There is openness, respect, trust, wisdom, good communication and INCREASE, because two have come together in fellowship, in the Light of God! God is in the midst, where two or three have come together. These words do not only pertain to worship, prayer and sermon times. These words from God are for everyday living and should be a part of our way of life and worship, even in business and politics!

Godliness should be in our conversations and relationships. Therefore, if we are ABIDING in Him, we are acknowledging Him in EVERYTHING we think, say and DO. --And, everything we do is for the glorification of GOD!

Does this sound too one-sided to you, like ONLY God is benefiting and getting anything out of life? Then, you do not understand the KINGDOM of God. It is unlike the world we live in, which emphasizes the importance of SELF.

Connected to God and as citizens of His Kingdom, EVERYONE benefits from the glorification of God; for we are part of a collective and collaboration that affects countless individuals and life throughout Heaven, Earth and the Universe.

Jesus knew that by glorifying His Father, He too, would be lifted up. We also, by glorifying God, will be lifted up on eagles wings, rising above a vain world, filled with selfishness, filth and  degradation, to bask in the Light of Holiness and Righteousness.

How dare I say this when there are poor, starving and afflicted people in the world? Am I being naive, gullible and unrealistic? Does all of this talk mean anything when they remain poor, starving and afflicted?

Even if I back it up with scripture, those without BELIEF and FAITH in God will still think I'm talking out of the side of my mouth, being misleading to gain attention or that I'm simply off my rocker--just plain crazy. Why? --Because, they cannot relate to being a Spiritual Being and being created by someone GREATER than themselves, who they cannot see or hear.

Some prefer to believe or through the process of logic, have concluded that this life and world are all that there is.  So, why not GO FOR THE GUSTO?! LIVE IT UP?! Do it YOUR way?! They believe there ARE no repercussions, punishment or next life. Others may believe there is a God and Jesus is His Son, but that's as far as their belief goes. They also LOVE and live for self and the world, which makes them enemies of God.

One belief cancels out the other; for they have not learned to equate believing in God and Jesus with love (for God IS love) and love with obedience. So, to believe in God is to love Him and to love Him is to OBEY Him. Their relationship with God is one of deceit and betrayal. As a result of believing lies fed to them by the enemy, their belief is dead. Dead? How is it dead? Did it have life? Yes! Just as faith without works is dead and the dead should bury the dead, they cannot be FRUITFUL! They are dead in sin. They are a withered branch that must be cut off from The Vine because it cannot produce good fruit. They are good for nothing but kindling fire.

Our belief should lead us to Walk By Faith and Not By Sight! Our belief should have the power to Move, Shake and Conquer. Our belief is contained within a living Spiritual Being Who is the Source of Life! Our belief produces faith which produces increase and works manifested through God's Holy Spirit!

Can one believe and not have faith in that which they believe?  Yes, when people are use to believing only what they can see, feel, taste, hear and smell. This is why most Believers get wrapped up in the emotional and tangible part of worship and serving God and are unable to find the narrow road to the Kingdom. They cannot truly believe in the intangible and disconnect themselves from the flesh to live and walk by Faith in the Spirit.

Faith--believing, trusting and obeying, completely and unconditionally in an all seeing, knowing and omnipresent power that the world is unable to see. Wow! Some people will see you as having an imaginary friend that goes everywhere with you. Are you ready for this? Can you STAND in your belief? Or will you let your heart deceive you because you love the world more than your Savior and Heavenly Father?

OVERCOME the world, placing Jesus at the center of your heart as your treasure, your Captain, your Guiding Light, your peace and your joy! His TRUTH will show you the WAY to eternal, everlasting LIFE!

Hebrews 4 (KJV)

4 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.

2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.

4 For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.

5 And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest.

6 Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:

7 Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.

8 For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.

9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.

10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.

11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.

15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Your servant, by the Grace, Mercy and Perfect Love of OUR FATHER,
