Later contouring! “Blush Draping” is the new makeup trend flying out of spring 2017 fashion week to give you the chiseled face you dream of. This technique accentuates your cheekbones by draping them in blush. While this is drastically different from what we’ve been doing so far, its not new. This trend made its debut in the 80’s with the gorgeous Kate Moss.

But, lets be real. She looks perfect no matter what. So we must ask, does this look really work?

It can be done boldy or more subtly, but either way its fun and fresh. I don’t know about you guys, but I’m really over the heavy, cake face, of contouring. Sure a little bronzer here and there to give you some definition is extremely helpful and will probably always remain in our beauty repertoire, but its gone too far.

From Marc Jacobs to Chanel and Kenzo, this look was all over the runway.
