'The Tales of Beedle the Bard contains five richly imaginative stories of adventure, cunning, heartache, and, of course, magic. They are to the wizarding community what the tales of the Brothers Grimm are to Muggle families.

This lush new illustrated edition has been translated from the ancient runes by Hermione Granger and is presented here with extensive commentary by Albus Dumbledore. With an introduction and notes by J.K. Rowling, this collection will thrill and delight Muggles and wizards alike.'

I loved this book.

As a massive Harry Potter fan it shouldnt surprise anyone to hear that I loved this book. I loved the original version of this book so when I heard we were getting an illustrated version I was overjoyed.

J.K. Rowling did a fantastic job with this book. The stories were weird, wacky and utterly captivating. I don't have a bad word to say about these stories. I was genuinely surprised by how amazing Chris Riddell's illustrations complimented J.K Rowling's stories.

Chris Riddell not only captured the stories being told but he added an entire new dimension to them. His illustrations were bright, bold and absolutely beautiful. Chris Riddell's illustrations are something I didn't know I needed and now I can't image reading this book without them.

I honestly can't describe how truly magical this book is. I will treasure this book and it will one of those books that I will continually read over the years.

If you are still questioning whether or not to buy this book, you should know that for every sale of this book, Scholastic will donate 15% of the suggested retail price to Lumos, an international nonprofit organization founded by J.K. Rowling that works globally to end the institutionalization of children.

The Tales Of Beedle The Bard: Illustrated Edition by J.K. Rowling is a must have for all Harry Potter fans, and the perfect book to introduce new readers to J.K. Rowling's magical world.
