We never appreciate what we have until it's gone. Yes, that is so true! You think the grass is always greener on the other side. You can’t have a testimony unless you have a test so how do you know how far you can actually go until you are tested?

Yes, so many people are like this out there. They have no concept of what is right in front of them. They are constantly looking at what others have:

"Oh look, they have a bigger house. I want that"

"Oh I am sick of my man. I know there is someone better out there and I want a new one"

"Oh look at her; she has all those expensive shoes and bags. It must be nice. I want that! Why can't that be me?"

Oh, yes! So many people are envious and jealous of what others have and they have no idea how truly blessed they are. They will throw it all away to search after that "pot of gold" at the end of rainbow, not realizing that the gold they were seeking was already right under their noses or that all that you see isn't gold at all.

Yes, that big house may be beautiful but the wife cries herself to sleep in there every night. There is no love; it is just a house not a home.

That man that you no longer "love", someone else appreciates his worth and sees what a great man he is and also sees what you have taken for granted, for so many years.

That woman with the expensive bags and shoes can't sleep at night because the bill collectors are calling every day. She has an empty soul that she is constantly trying to fill with "things". She looks good on the outside but is a mess on the inside.

It is not until then that you realize what you used to have and now want it back but it is too late. You have destroyed it by seeking something "better".

There will never be anything better, you will never be satisfied and you will constantly keep searching for the next "thing" to make you happy. You will never find it because you are broken, incomplete and empty and until you fix yourself to realize that you have to be happy within, all of that will never make you happy.

You will continue to go on hurting people because they moved on, changed and grew and you will never realize that it was you all along... You are blocking your own blessings.

You will continue to blame everyone and never take responsibility for your actions. You will never admit your wrong doing and in that, you will never learn the lessons so you will never grow and change. You will be stuck in your unsatisfied life, always wanting more, always seeking the next big thing. You will never be satisfied, because if you can't be happy or grateful for what you have now, what makes you think you'll be grateful for something else?

So today my friends remember the thing you’re not grateful for is the very thing someone else is praying for.

"Be the change you want to see"
"And just when the caterpillar thought his life was over...he turned into a beautiful butterfly"
