“The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, He will show you a way out so that you can endure.” 1 Corinthians 10:13 (NLT)

Whatever your temptation is; whatever is overwhelming you to the point that you feel like giving up, God is the way out of it all.

God sees you.

He knows your heart’s desire and will give you that when you delight yourself in Him: “Take delight in the Lord, and He will give you your heart’s desires.” Psalm 37:4 (NLT) (I would suggest reading all of Psalm 37)

If your desire is to hunger and thirst after righteousness more than anything else, you shall be filled. If your desire is to be closer to God, you’ll have that… As long as your desires line up with the will of God, you’ll be fulfilled.

“Once I was young, and now I am old. Yet have I seen the godly abandoned or their children begging for bread.” Psalm 37:25 (NLT)

“Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously (And this righteousness will bring peace. Yes, it will bring quietness and confidence. Isaiah 32:17 (NLT)), and He will give you all that you need.” Matthew 6:33 (NLT)

When you begin to seek God, you’ll be at peace because you’ll realize, you don’t have to worry about anything because God has you (Matthew 7:7-8).

He is your Shepherd, He will take care of you (Psalm 23)… So don’t worry.

Or is He your Shepherd?

Do you really trust Him to be there and care for you in your situation?

*Matthew 6:25-34.

God sees you, He hears you and He’s not slow to keep His promise to relieve you so no matter how hard it is, no matter what you feel, no matter what you see; “Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust Him, and He will help you. He will make your innocence radiate like the dawn, and the justice of your cause will shine like the noonday sun.” Psalm 37:5-6 (NLT)

What you’re going through is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58), believe that! There’s another side of all of this. There’s glory on the other side (Romans 8:18).

So keep being the light where you are! You’re like a city on a hill (Matthew 5:14-16) and somebody sees it and needs it (even if you don’t know it or see it, you’ve planted and/or are planting seeds that God is watering and they will grow in God’s appointed season).

You’re still there because God needs you there and wants to use you there.

So get back to praying, get yourself back in the word of God (if you’ve not been in it), magnify Him over your problems (Worship Him), meditate on His word day and night (Joshua 1:8) and you’ll be alright!

If you’ll keep your mind on Him and He’ll keep you in perfect peace (Isaiah 26:3).

Just repeat His name out loud or in your mind and see what I mean… or just think about Him/meditate on Him and His goodness – I’m telling you – there will be peace.

I mean, if His name is the Word of God (according to Revelation 19:13) and His name is a Strong Fortress that you can run to and be safe, what you need to be doing is calling on His name and confessing the word of God! You need to be standing on/depending on the word of God because He/it is your rock and fortress (Psalm 18:1-2)!

If you have your mind wrapped around His promises and plan for you, what reason is there to be stressed? He makes everything glorious!

When I think on that, it’s so beautiful. Because I know everything works out for my good and His glory.

And I know that if it’s very chaotic around you, you can become easily distracted and frustrated – or your peace can easily be broken – but don’t stop running to that peace! You know where it’s at! Don’t let it go.

Here are my two favorite scriptures… Keeping my mind on them has gotten me through so much; “Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he reveal to us later.” Romans 8:18 (NLT)

“And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose for them.” Romans 8:28 (NLT)

Man, just meditate on those and see how much comfort and joy you’ll experience! It’s real.

I know that the flesh is a beast… I know it takes a toll to steadily press against the odds and still feel weary and defeated… but keep pressing and don’t give up (Galatians 6:9)!

Our Savior has overcome the world (John 6:33) and gives us power to do the same… rely on and trust in that power.

And in this time there are two things that really need to be understood:

One; the Spirit and Flesh are constantly at war with one another (Galatians 5:17) one is willing (Spirit) and the other is weak (Flesh)… The war between the two will never cease until the return of Christ… so – you might as well strap yourself in the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) and bring it. Do all that you can to stand and Father God will take care of the rest.

Two; know that this is a Spiritual battle (Ephesians 6:12). I know in a situation such as this, people will get on your nerves and make you want to fight them, curse at them or whatever – but it’s not the people… so forgive them… they don’t know what they’re doing (some people are truly blind to their ways)… So pray that God opens their eyes and they see the error of their ways.

Check out: Psalm 139 & Ephesians 4:17-32… Just a couple of passage that helped me in times like this.

I know you really want those around you to see Jesus, so your love walk is really tested here… Whatever happens, press hard to keep walking and talking like Jesus and allowing the Father to work in and through you.

I know you might feel weaker than you’ve ever been – but your perspective should be, “When I’m weak, He’s strong (2 Corinthians 12:8-10)”.

His power works perfect through our weaknesses.

The more lower and defeated you feel, the more desperate your soul is for a relief.

But there’s only one true relief; in Jesus Christ.

I pray that this message has reached out and impacted and influenced you. I pray that you are now encouraged and that you will keep striving no matter what.
