Week 8 in the NFL kicks off tonight as the 2-4 Jacksonville Jaquars are at the 3-4 Tennessee Titans in and AFC South battle. Let's go through position by position and see who you should start and whom you should sit tonight.

Quarterback:
Blake Bortles seems to be struggling this season and there was fan talk this week about benching him. I'm not sure Chad Henne or Brandon Allen would be an upgrade over Bortles. I own Bortles in one of my fantasy leagues and he's on the bench this week; so I'm going to go with him as a SIT tonight.

Marcus Mariota has 12 touchdowns and 6 interceptions on the season. He's coming off a 2 touchdown game against the Indianapolis Colts. Mariota has been a duel threat quarterback as he's a good runner when he's needs to be. I'm going to START Mariota tonight.

Running Back:

I'm a fan of Chris Ivory and always try to find a way to get him on my fantasy team. This is the first time in a few seasons that hasn't been a positive. Ivory is averaging 3.4 yards per carry and has just 1 touchdown. Looking at that I'm going to SIT my guy Ivory tonight.

T.J. Yeldon was suppose to help carry the load in the Jaquars backfield, but he hasn't had a any luck running the football either. Yeldon has 1 rushing touchdown and averages 3.3 yards per carry. Yeldon is a SIT as well for me tonight.

DeMarco Murray after a year of exile in Philadelphia Murray is back as one of the top fantasy running backs in the game. Murray 633 yards on the season put him 3rd overall in the NFL. Murray should be a good START tonight.

When Derrick Henry was drafted by the Titans he was talked about being the guy who got the goal line carries. With the way Murray has played Henry has really fallen into a back up role and isn't worth a start; so I'd SIT Henry tonight.

Wide Receiver:

Allen Robinson isn't putting up the big numbers he did last season, but he does still have 3 touchdowns this season. He's a deep threat and could break a long touchdown at any time. I think he's a good gamble to START tonight.

Allen Hurns is the Jaquars yardage leader, but has only scored 1 touchdown this season. Hurns was almost the third receiver in the offense last week. I'd like to see how Hurns is used to tonight; so I'm going to SIT him and see how it goes.

Marqise Lee had the best week of his career last week against the Oakland Raiders with 8 catches for 107 yards. Was that a fluke? Or will we see Lee start to become the receiver Jacksonville thought he could be when they drafted him. I'm not sold here; so :Lee is a SIT for me tonight.

Rishard Matthews is the Titans leading wide receiver with 23 catches and does have 2 touchdowns. This is a tough receiving corps to judge, but I'm going to SIT Matthews tonight.

Tajae Sharpe has more targets than any other Titans wide receiver with 45, but doesn't have a touchdon this season. Sharpe looked better last week, but not enough for me to get him into my line up; so I'd say SIT Sharpe tonight.

Kendall Wright had a huge game two weeks ago, but couldn't keep it going in last weeks game. Can Wright have another big game or was that it for the season? I;m not sold on Wright and he's a SIT for me tonight.

Tight End:

Julius Thomas played through an ankle injury against the Raiders last week and caught 3 passes and 1 went for a touchdown. Thomas has been limited in the Jaquars short week of practice; so that makes this a tough call, but I think I'll SIT Thomas tonight.

Delanie Walker is Mariota's #1 target in the passing game. Walker leads the Titans in receptions with 24 and touchdowns with 3. Walker has also caught 8 passes for 20 or more yards this season; so go ahead and START him tonight.

Defense/Special Teams:

Jacksonville is 24th overall in defense this season. They come in 15th against the run and 27th against the pass. The Titans aren't a top offense, but I still think I'm going to SIT the Jacksonville Defense/Special teams tonight.

Tennessee is just one slot ahead of Jacksonville at 23rd overall, but with the way the Jaquars have been struggling will they be able to take advantage of that ranking. I'm going to go ahead and START the Tennessee Defense/Special Teams tonight.

Well there you go. I hope this helps you make a correct decision or to tonight. As always thinks for taking the time to read this article and check back tomorrow to see how my picks worked out.
