As amazing as life is, it is also tough. Responsibilities are thrown in your direction every day, so learning how to roll with the punches will help you flourish within your demanding life. Although my life isn't by any means perfect and put together, I have come up with a couple of tips that have made me better at remembering tasks, keeping stress, and grey hairs, to a minimum.

1. INVEST IN A PLANNER

Buying a planner is imperative to my personal success because I'm able to plot my tasks out by categorizing them. I find that writing out tasks is a lot more effective than just typing a lists on a phone. I can't tell you how many times to do lists on my phone got completely forgotten because of the tweets and posts and emails that consume my thinking when I'm on my phone. Having a color-coordinated agenda helps me remember even the littlest tasks I need to take care of.

2. MAKE YOUR PHONE WORK FOR YOU

Like I previously stated, I always forget to look at notes I type on my phone. So recently I've been creating a to do list on my phone, screenshotting the notes, and then setting that picture as my wallpaper so that every time I go to check Twitter or Instagram, I am reminded of the tasks that i should actually be doing. It also serves as motivation because let's face it- the notes picture does not make for that cute of a wallpaper, and as soon as you're done with your tasks, you can swap that ugly lock screen for something much cuter- like dogs or smiling Starbucks cups.

3. ACTUALLY USE POST IT NOTES

Now I know making flipbook movies with post its are tons of fun, but when tasks are needed to be completed, post it notes can be used for so much good. Post it notes have often saved me from going on trips or leaving the house without everything I need. Sometimes life gets in the way and last minute packing is necessary and post it notes will be your friendly reminder to take exactly what you need for the day ahead.

Love,

Annie

Stay Creative!!
