I wasn't feeling good for a while and when I was finally feeling better I completely lost my motivation to write. I searched on the Internet for tips to get your motivation back and a few really helped, so that is why I want to share them with you!

  1. One Goal. Whenever I’ve been in a slump, I’ve discovered that it’s often because I have too much going on in my life. I’m trying to do too much. It’s probably the most common mistake that people make: You want to do as much as possible and let be honest, we are no ''superwomen or superman''. So give yourself one goal at a time and it can be anything. For example '' I want to go to the gym 3 times a week or I want to write a blog post 8 times a month''.
  2. Keep it real. No one has time to go too the gym 7 days a week, only if you work at the gym. So keep it real. Have a look at your schedule and then see what is realistic and what works for you.
  3. Find inspiration. Inspiration, for me, comes from others who have achieved what I want to achieve, or who are currently doing it. I read other blogs, books, magazines, youtube. I Google my goal, and read success stories. Also I love Pinterest and a lot of my ideas I will get from Pinterest.
  4. Get excited. This sounds obvious, but most people don’t think about it much: if you want to break out of a slump, get yourself excited about a goal. But how can you do that when you don’t feel motivated? Well, it starts with inspiration from others (see above), but you have to take that excitement and build on it.
  5. Show your goal. Make a moodboard or write it with big letters on a piece of paper and hang it on your wall! Make sure that you see it every day. This really helps for me to keep my focus on my goal.
  6. Just do it. If you follow all those steps, then you only have to do it. In the beginning it will be so hard and you want to give up but at the end of your goal you feel so happy that you complete your goal!

So get your lazy butt out of bed and get started!
