“Wanting can be done sitting on the couch with a bong in your hand and a travel magazine in your lap.

Deciding means jumping in all the way, doing whatever it takes, and going after your dreams with the tenacity of a dateless cheerleader a week before prom night.”- Jen Sincero

“I want to be rich.” I want to travel the world.” I want love.” I want to quit this miserable job.” “I want to meet new people.” “I want to stop being so broke.” “I want to be happy.” “I want to change the world.” “I want success.” “I want freedom.” “I want…” “I want…” “I want…”

Wanting something means nothing. Sadly, what you just read is a very well known mantra for many people these days. What ever happened to the “I will, I can and I am.” What ever happened to waking up in the morning, looking in the mirror and KNOWING that today you will make a difference in both your life and in someone else’s?
Stop the wanting. Stop the nagging. Stop the negative. Simply, stop anything and everything that STOPS YOU from fulfilling your purpose in the world because YOU DO have a purpose. Want to be rich? Decide on the moves you plan to make to get there. Want to travel the world? Decide when and where. Want love? Decide to stop creating barriers and open up your heart. Want to quit your miserable job? Decide to do it. Want to meet new people? Decide what to wear and get out there. Want to stop being broke? Decide what it is you actually need to survive and let go of the insignificant spending. Want to be happy? Decide to stop being miserable and voila. Want to change the world? Decide to actually do something that makes a difference. Want success? Decide to fail and then decide to get back up. Decide to commit. Want freedom? Decide to break the chains that you put in place to weigh you down then decide to fly.
We don’t realize how easy it is to make such changes in our lives simply because we’re blinded by fear, failure and judgement. What does it matter if you’re walking alone? What does it matter if you lose certain people along the way? What does it matter if no one else understands? What does it all matter? NOTHING. None of it matters. Want to know why? I’m going to tell you anyway.
One day you’re going wake up in front of an opened bay window, somewhere on an island looking out into the ocean. You’ll wake up to this view every morning with a smile on your face and a nice hot cup of coffee in your hand or a nice cold mimosa (I don’t judge). You’ll realize how blessed you are and how much you’ve overcome to achieve this level of a lifestyle. You’ll think of the people you met along the way and yet you won’t think twice about the people who didn’t follow you, who didn’t believe in what you had planned and what was possible to create.

One day these very same people will wake up either broke, alone, sick, imprisoned, depressed, unhappy, hating life, wondering why them?
Or.. All of the above. See the difference?
