What is your motivation? Like 0 Twitter Lizzie Walton Follow July 6, 2016, 11:01 p.m. in Opinion Views: 829 Like us on facebook When is the perfect time? When is the perfect moment? Where is the perfect opportunity? They’re good questions! You wait and wait for the perfect moment, the perfect time and that perfect opportunity. Well I can tell you, you will be waiting your whole life. You will waste your entire life that way because it’s simply just never going to happen. In the end, you realise it’s you who gets to create those perfect opportunities, that perfect time and them all important special moments. Unless you attempt something beyond what you have already achieved you will never grow. You will never stretch yourself to achieve those dreams and goals. It’s a big world out there and you can’t depend on anyone. You have to make your own way. Depending on your mum and dad – where will that get you? Nowhere. Whilst they’re busy thinking, you’re missing an opportunity because they don’t understand the significance of the chance you have been given. You want something bad enough, you will fight for it. After all, if it was easy everyone would be doing it. “Life isn't all sunshine and rainbows.” On the course towards your dream, you will encounter disappointment, failure and pain but that’s how winners are made. It’s about how you turn your pain and failure into strength and success. How do you get back up from being hit down? Determination – that’s how. That goal, that dream! Lots of people stop moving forward out of fear of failing but that’s not really your biggest enemy. Your biggest enemy is you. You will be your biggest critic. Far too many people waste precious time invested in other peoples’ opinions that in the end they know more about them than they do themselves. I heard someone once say “the graveyard is the richest place on this earth.” It’s true. Far too many take all their dreams, aspirations and ideas to graveyard out of fear of failing or through comfort in what they are doing. They forget to stop pursing their dreams and goals. They stop growing and somehow become satisfied. Would you be satisfied with that? Make that dream a reality because if you don’t you will only end up working for someone else to help make their dream a reality. The only question I have left to ask you is what are you going to do with your time? What motivates you? Thank you so much for reading everyone. Let me know what your goals are or what motivates you!
