As someone who is just simply picky about the products they put on their skin, any brand with a reputation for being natural and paraben/sulphate/whatever free is always a winner in my book, but there aren't a lot of those that are actually any good. I know a brand is good if it has my mother's seal of approval because she's also cautious about what goes on her skin and Cowshed has my mother's seal of approval. She checked the ingredients on it, like she always does when I receive any form of skin care and she gave me the OK. Before trying this, I did a test patch to see if I was allergic and like I expected, I wasn't, but if you ever try this product, please do a test patch because there are allergens in this.

If you're looking for a natural moisturiser that makes your skin feel like someone just ran a buffer over you to make you silky smooth, then this is the one for you. It contains Shea and Cocoa butter to nourish the skin and natural essential oils such as ginger, lemongrass and rosemary. Now, how do these essential oils benefit your skin? Well

  • Lemongrass naturally tones your skin and brightens up tired, dull skin. It also energises your muscles, apparently (use this after your morning shower if you're going to have a long day).
  • Ginger is a natural antiseptic and is usually used to treat digestive problems (drink yourself some ginger tea if you're ever feeling ill).
  • Rosemary is a natural skin and hair booster - it's stimulating, reviving and invigorating.

Okay, those selling points are all fine and dandy, but is it actually any good? Honestly speaking...yes! I have used this a few times since receiving it and I am in love with how soft my skin feels. I'm not too keen on the smell, but it's not so bad that you'll feel ill - you'll be able to take it, it's just not something you'd want to smell if you were given the choice. I have very dry skin and I'm also a fan of not using a lot of product in one swoop, so this bad boy is perfect for me. It moisturises my skin without me having to use a huge amount in one go.

Would I recommend this product? Of course I would. I'm picky about my skin care and I would never recommend something if I didn't think it was wonderful. But like I said before, there are allergens in this, so please check the ingredients and do a test patch before you slather this everywhere!

If you want to get this, you can buy it here. That link features a couple of offers on this product and two others to get you discounts and whatnot. Also, since you're here, I have another link to plug - my main blog. You can get even more posts on my regular blog, so be sure to check that out! So if this wonderful moisturiser appeals to you, then be sure to get that when you can and are there any other natural brands you can recommend? Let me know, I'm always itching to find a brand that's natural. Until next time, guys, see ya!
