The other day I was out walking in the leaves.  Every so often a wind would blow and all the leaves would come off the ground and seem to dance and spin around the yards.  Even the slightest breeze seemed to raise some of the leaves.  With every movement of air, some of the leaves would dance and some of the leaves would remain docile on the grass.

That is the way we behave when the Spirit of God breathes and blows in our lives.  Some of us will dance as His Spirit breathes life into our lives, others will be still.  Which of these reactions is more pleasing to God?

Psalms 32:11 tells us, “Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.” (KJV)  If the Spirit of God is in us, we are to be glad.  We are to rejoice.  We are to shout for joy.  God does not want us to walk around with our heads down and discouragement on our faces.  He wants to live a victorious life.  Not only does He want us to live it, He wants us to shout about it and rejoice in His presence.
