The previous article mentions the BIG event, the lay-off, and slightly mentioned the Lord's provision for complete adequacy during restoration.  Again, even when we are going down the wrong path, or are lost and brokenhearted[1] from a certain circumstance, God can turn us around in His divine timing to lead us back to Him and the provision He has for us.  He does not want to see us hurting and suffering, and He is always there to help us.  But how many of us actually turn Him away and reject Him, even unknowingly, by not even giving God a second thought (or first thought) when we are going through our trials?

A funny thing this morning grabbed my attention.  I powered up my laptop and opened my email, and the most recent eight emails were all biblical links, articles or devotionals.  I never realized how many I signed up for until this morning, and so very interesting that they are the first emails I see, and the most recent emails sent, so as I wake up to check my email, the first thing I see are eight emails in reference to God.  I just had to snap a picture of this. Ha!  That's no coincidence guys!  And FYI I do not believe in coincidences anyway.  I believe everything is in God's timing.  Almost like a subtle message in which God is saying, "Seek Me first"...first in EVERYTHING.

Anyway, I brought that up to say,  it's imperative that we actively take responsibility in seeking God and intentionally keeping a healthy relationship with Him.

However, there is no substitute for reading the Holy Bible.  I repeat, THERE IS NO SUBSTITUTE FOR READING THE HOLY BIBLE.

The number one, most accelerated, way to get closer to God is to READ His living word for YOURSELF, and get a life...a prayer life!

The  more diligently we seek Him, and obey His instruction for us, we will surely become closer to Him and see blessings overcome us and our circumstances, no matter what, through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit[2]; the True "enlightenment".  Regarding God's word, I often say read it, meditate on it, believe it, and surely you will see it (in your life).  A lot of times the blessing that we receive is a transformation of ourselves and certain attitudes that we've carried for way too long.

We cannot sit back and expect to live a secondhand Christian life[3] by only going to church on Sunday, or Wednesday, or listening to others that know the word, whether that be on t.v., or in person, or on a blog.  As I've said on my instagram, there are too many translations of the living word for the excuses to not read the Bible for ourselves.  As we start to fervently ask in prayer, and seek[4] life guidance through the living word of God, the 9 fruits of the Holy Spirit[5] begin to develop within us.

Remember, God gave us the gift of Free Will, so we have to actually WANT to have a relationship with Him, and we prove that through our actions to seek Him!  As you do, the fruits of the Holy Spirit will lead you to a peace you've probably never known before: True Bliss while on earth, all voids filled, and all of the works of the flesh/carnal self[6] will surely diminish.  But it doesn't stop there, the continuation of fostering that healthy relationship is a life-long commitment.  God is never-changing[7], His word is firm and He will always be there for you. Will you do the same for Him?

Note: Below you will find the corresponding Scriptures and Quote(s) to the numbers ([1], [2], etc.) highlighted in bold in the above article.
