I was 10 ft away from it but still it gave me shivers. I took a deep breath and began to close the distance. I didn’t care if i just made someone lame or if i spilled a cup of coffee of or i made someone impotent. The adrenaline rush got me going non-stop. There was giggling around me and crying but i really didn’t care. All I knew was that I had to get there, my sanity depended on it.

I walked a little further, getting so close that I was breathing in  the same air it did. The shivers ran uncontrollably through me. It was like an out of body experience.

Was it necessary? I almost let myself ask but no, I wouldn’t let anything get in the way. I was willing to face the consequences, I was willing to go that extra mile for this.

I grazed the surface with the tip of my fingers and my heart skipped a beat, butterflies erupted in my stomach in a frenzy, I could not ignore the tingling sensation that coursed through me…almost…until a figure blocked my vision, aiming for it. NO! I panicked, no, never, I wasn’t going to let it happen. I struggled and fought and bit and tore and ripped, there was blood and screams and a few tears, but it was worth it, I had it in my arms, FINALLY!!!

I felt elated, I felt like a champion, like I had won the best price ever, my biggest win. With a satisfied smile, I went to the counter, paid my bill and left limping with my very own pair of LOUBOUTINS.
