Hello everyone! It has been a little while since I wrote a blog post. I do apologise.

On a high note, the ministry has been growing rapidly and we have been able to accomplish more in helping people. Doors of opportunity have been opening everywhere to teach the Word of God as well as feeding the poor, seeing the oppressed set free and healings abounding.

We have truly been in a blessed season when it comes to fruit in the Kingdom. On the down side though, it has been a bit tricky to blog it all.

I thought I would share what God was speaking to me this morning in my alone time with Him. I was reading through Romans when these verses really stuck out to me.

Rom 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

Rom 8:36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

Rom 8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

In all truth I have read these many times, but today verse 37 jumped out at me. There’s a list in verse 35 of all the things that “cannot, and will not” separate us from Gods love. Tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, nakedness, peril or sword.

Verse 37 teaches us that we are conquerors through all these things. Now that is good news. This is also means that when any of those things try to come into our lives, tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, nakedness, peril or sword we will always ultimately have the victory. That’s Gods promise in His Word.

You can declare the following:

I am a conqueror over tribulations……. This means you will have the victory when things look sour. Trust God, don’t trust the humanistic thinking.

I am a conqueror over distress…… anxiety and distresses are not something the people of God need to accept. You have conquered, because Christ did it at the cross.

I am a conqueror over persecution…… The Bible does promise us that people will hate us because they hate God, and we also know the devil really hates us. The truth is however, If God be for us, who can be against us. We can walk through life not bothered by what others think or say. If you are in a country where being a Christian could mean losing your life, simply put “promotion to headquarters”. Don’t ever fear being with the Lord.

I am a conqueror over famine…. God has not called His people to be poor. Start declaring the Covenant truths and promises over your life so you can give from the overflow of finance to the poor, as we have been instructed too.

I am a conqueror over nakedness….God says we will be plenteous in goods. If God so clothes the grass, will He not clothe us also. Believe the Covenant truths once again. You are a conqueror!

I am a conqueror over peril….Peril is destruction. God has redeemed our lives from destruction.

I am a conqueror over sword….. Remember even if you are in a life threatening situation, God always gives us the choice. We are in a Covenant and our Covenant partner works with us and not against us. Just as Jesus could have gotten out of going to the cross if He wanted by calling on a legion of angels, we also can get out of a situation that is life threatening. When we hear of the many testimonies and read the many writings of those bravely martyred for the Lord, they always write about how they know that they will be killed. The Lord has already graced them with the ability to lay down their lives. Don’t ever fear, God is with you and will never MAKE you do what you do not want to do. Grace always comes with the call. Believe God for your safety. Psalm 91 is perfect to meditate on.

Many of those points that we see from those verses are things that many Christians believe are a normal part of life. I encourage you to walk in the fullness of God and not settle for less. If God says you have victory in an area, receive it. Don’t allow the enemy to distract you from living your best life yet.

Be blessed and thanks for reading.
