Sometimes you pass through rough spots in life. You trip and fall and you have no one to catch you. You empty your tear ducts over and over again and you think they’ll never function properly again. You get your heart broken and it feels like lead in your chest. You have invisible bruises all over and your being is one breath away from splitting into infinite fragments. But you listen to me. That breath? You take it. You take it and you breathe it deep inside you. You take it and let it hiss through your teeth, slide over your tongue. You take it and you let it expand your lungs to their full capacity. You take it and you feel it straight down to your toes. You take it and you let all that air separate your worn-out spirit and carry the frayed splinters away. Because in the end, you have to shatter to construct again.
