Since graduating from the Philippine Women's University in 1997, she made a career in advertising and public relations, handling creative development and PR work for some of the Philippines' leading PLCs and consumer brands.
These days, she is a consultant for a corporate governance advocacy in Makati and does a lot of freelance writing. Aside from what she does for a living, she writes poetry and novels in her spare time.
