Greetings from India. I've spent most of my life in a quaint little town, Shimla, nestled in the heart of the Himalayas. Luckily, I've had the opportunity to move around quite a number of cities but I've come to realise that I was never cut out for city-life. It has and will never appeal to me.
Now that I'm back home, I feel the pros of a simple life greatly outweigh the cons. I have time to pursue all my interests and it feels great to indulge my soul in the finer things in life. I spend most of my day cooking and binge eating on repeat and whatever's left of the day, I dedicate that time to reading and writing for my blog. Some of those posts you'll see here as the days unfold plus additional content tailor-made for MTS. I also plan to start gardening soon but I'm making no commitments there.
A poet at heart, most of what I write is in rhymes but sometimes I try my hands on prose too. All my work stems from what I feel and I think I feel far too much for far too long. The chunk of my posts will revolve around the general parameters of any and every life - love, loss, emotions, friendship and self-love, from the purview of a 24 year old. I often try to portray I'm mature beyond my years but sometimes my juvenility creeps out and surfaces. But I guess I'll ripen with age. Here's hoping.
