Exams have finished
And I am finally free.
Summer has started
And I’m as happy as can be.
I can forget about those boring lessons
Which seem as long as a year.
Maths and all its complications
Is the lesson I most fear.
I can finally go to the beach
And swim as long as I please,
Enjoying the sea’s spray
And the cool breeze.
Because summer is here
And when it’s over
I’ll go back to school
And start a whole new year.
