Engineering & MPC course
After completing your intermediate college with mathematics, physics, and chemistry (MPC), engineering is the most sought-after career by the MPC group of students. Though, you have many career options in numerous areas where analytical, logical, and practical skills of the MPC stream take you to the long leap of career advantage. Everyone aspires to a beneficial, long-lasting, and high-paying career and engineering is the first option that provides necessary career security.
There is already a misconception that biology or commerce, instead of maths, has many career scopes. It puts more stress on the final year students of the intermediate college as they have given 2 years to MPC course. In reality, MPC subjects have immense value and they can explore any area of science and arts with a logical and practical approach.
Engineering with MPC course
Engineering/BE. or B. Tech. is very popular among the MPC group of students. In addition to engineering, there is a huge scope of career in B. ARCH (architecture), merchant navy, BCA, B. pharmacy, BMS (Management), agriculture, financial markets, animation, and many other fields.
Apart from the engineering program, there are various technical diploma programs also running in Hyderabad. They too have numerous engineering courses for diploma engineering. The full course duration for diploma engineering is 3 years.
There are numerous engineering branches which you can choose to study for 4 years. Computer engineering, mechanical engineering, electronics engineering, civil engineering and electrical engineering, communication engineering are the popular engineering streams among aspirants.
Engineering is the Best Choice
Engineering is an extensive subject with a vast coverage of engineering branches. You can identify what type of engineering you are passionate about and your natural inclination to the particular knowledge. You can choose the engineering branch and stay involved with the respective subjects.
Engineering is a stream of education that uses the application of physics, math, and chemistry to innovate and develop machines, structures, software, and hardware of the system. Engineering provides a wide range of career opportunities across all industries. Nothing can function without science! It is the most pursued career by the MPC group of students after intermediate college. Once you completed a bachelor's course in engineering you can pursue a master's for specialization in any of the branches.
Engineering Course or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech)
B.Tech is the 4 years full-time undergraduate course leading to the engineering degree.
According to the survey of the Ministry of Human Resource and Development (MHRD), engineering is the third major stream with students enrolment every year at the undergraduate level. There are more than 3000 colleges offering engineering courses in India. The Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and National Institutes of Technology (NITs) are the dream of every engineering aspirant to get admission there. Many colleges/universities of India offer engineering programs in various disciplines. There are nearly 100 specialization courses available in engineering.
After getting a B. Tech degree in engineering, students can specialize in any discipline of engineering and can get an M.Tech degree.
Eligibility for Engineering Course
Students must have passed the intermediate exam from a recognized board with MPC as the core subjects. They must have a minimum aggregate mark of 60 percent in the MPC group of subjects. Most of the engineering institutes in Hyderabad select students based on entrance exam scores and ranks. However, some institutes and colleges conduct their own entrance exams. JEE Mains is a popular engineering exam in India, and most of the engineering institutes grant admission to engineering courses through JEE Mains. Engineering aspirants must appear in JEE Mains for taking admission in engineering courses.
Levels of Accomplishment
Engineering programs are offered at the undergraduate (UG), postgraduate, and Ph.D. At the undergraduate level, you can do BE/B.Tech or Diploma in engineering. PG course is the specialization in any of engineering discipline and you get ME/M.Tech degree.
GATE is one of the most popular postgraduate engineering entrance exams for admissions to M.Tech programs in India.
A majority of engineering entrance exams release their exam schedules, eligibility criteria, and other related information every year.
Job and Career Scope
There are several job options available after completing engineering (B.Tech./BE). If you want to go for a higher study, you can pursue M.Tech and do advanced study in any one of the engineering courses. Or you can go for Ph.D. and become a professor after M.Tech. Some candidates choose MBA after B.Tech so they can have technical and management skills, both. You can pursue higher studies along with a job too. Some Indian universities provide distant education where online study material, video classes, online assignments, and exams are conducted. This way you can add value to your academic qualification and grow professionally in your organization. Many engineers, after few years of professional career, open their own business. They try new dimensions of entrepreneurship with their start-ups. So, job and career opportunities are unlimited and with so many private investments. Engineers are a valuable asset for the company.
Engineering is the creative application of scientific principles of Math, Physics, and Chemistry.
