I adored this book.
I have been waiting for this book ever since I finished the last one. As a massive Harry Potter fan, I think these illustrated editions are perfect.
Illustrator Jim Kay perfectly captures J.K Rowling's story and brings it to life. I loved seeing the way in which Jim Kay interpreted certain characters and scenes, it made for an exciting and fresh reading experience.
I will be honest here through; given that this book is much larger in written content then the previous three books, there were less full and half page illustrations. I had expected that there wouldn't be the same amount of illustrations in this book, so while I noticed there were less I was actually surprised by how may they were able to include given the size of the text.
Reading this book has been one of my favourite reading experiences in a long time. Now that I have finished it I am looking forward to getting my hands on the next one.
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire: Illustrated Edition by J.K. Rowling and Jim Kay is a must have for all Harry Potter fans.
