My name is Hannah Blum. My blog, Halfway2hannah, takes an unconventional approach to mental illness. At the age of 20, I was diagnosed with Bipolar 2, and the life I lead prior to a hospitalization, as a former Homecoming Queen and independent College student, abruptly ended. I graduated from North Carolina State University in May 2016, with a BA in Communication. I plan to use my education in media, and experience in the mental health community, to create a platform that educates the public about mental health. I live my life with a positive outlook and hope for a better future. Meet me halfway.
