Fall/Winter 2016 Report

Fall/Winter 2016 Report

It's officially August, which means my favorite season is just around the corner! It may seem a little bit early to be thinking about it, but it's never to early in the world of fashion! In honor of Fall's approach, here is a trend/print/style report of what you should keep an eye out when shopping for the season.

Color Reports:

Like always, dark plums, greys, and blues are always popular, but this year try thinking of adding some fun accents, like a light blue or green.

Up-and-coming trend:

Embroidered/patchwork jeans jackets were recently brought to light thanks to the creativity of Gucci (Gucci jacket appears in the middle). This style is quirky, fun, and incredibly chic when paired with the right outfit. Plus, it makes for a fun DIY project if you're interested in customizing your own! This is one trend that I really hope takes off.

I definitely believe animal prints will be making a come-back, and I love how designers have been incorporating them into the always-popular trenchcoat.

We began seeing these shaggy coats last winter, and I think this winter/late fall, they will continue to be a success on both the street and the runway.
