1. Go to the Golden Triangle

The Golden Triangle used to be an area of opium cultivation. Here you will find a market with many stalls, statues of elephants, and many other things. It is a very peculiar place and very marked by the Thai culture that few visitors get to see.

2. Visit the Grand Palace of Bangkok

Your vacation in Thailand will not be complete if you do not visit the most famous building in Bangkok. This palace has been the official residence of the kings of Siam and is more than 200 years old. The night lighting of the Grand Palace is spectacular.

3. Elephant riding during your stay in Thailand

Thailand offers you the opportunity to buy things everywhere. If you are in Bangkok, go to any of the following markets: Chatuchak, Weekend Market or Asiatique Night Market. If you are in the north of the country, go to Chiang Mai Night Bazaar and Wualai Walking Street Saturday Market.

10. National parks

Thailand has many unique landscapes, and its national parks are famous for their beauty and size. Go to visit some of these parks: Doi Inthanon National Park (where the highest peak in Thailand is), Khao Yai National Park (World Heritage of UNESCO), Sai Yok National Park (with several waterfalls, caves, and animals) ... any of them is a great option.
