Some people spend thousands of dollars on cosmetics trying to make their skin look good, others take to surgeries. But in all of this, the best way to keep your skin healthy is cheaper than you think. Just like most sports fans like visiting sport analytical portals, such as liontips.com, it is always recommended that you take care of your skin through a good diet rather than going the cosmetics way. Below, we have listed some foods you need in order to argue the health of your skin.

1. Fatty Fish

Fatty fishes contain omega-3 Fatty acids, this nutrient helps in making the skin look radiant and supple. They are also known to be used in the treatment of redness, inflammation, and protect the skin against UV rays. It contains antioxidants and vitamin E which helps in fighting radicals (capable of making it age quickly) and irritation on the skin. It is also rich in zinc and protein and helps in improving the production of new skin cells.

2. Avocado Pear

The avocado contains some good healthy fats that moisturize the skin and keeps it firm. It contains vitamins E-2 and C which are essential to body growth, support healthy skin, and help fight the formation of free radicals. The avocado pear is also rich in Biotin: this is a type of vitamin B that nutritionists believe can improve hair and skin growth. Biotin deficiency leads to some skin conditions like dermatitis, itchiness, and rashes.

3. Walnuts

Just as some people will like eating a whole bunch of nuts as snacks without knowing their health benefits, (nuts) have a big role to play in maintaining healthy skin. Walnuts for example contain a large amount of vitamin C and D, selenium, and zinc which are known to grow healthy skin in humans. Unlike fatty fish, Walnuts have more omega-3 acids and also have more omega-6 acids than other nuts. Medically, it is recommended that you eat at least ¼ cup of walnuts daily. Having an excess of it can make you gain more weight

4. Carrots

Even cosmetics companies have noticed the benefits of carrots on the skin, and they have taken to extract some of its properties in the production of cosmetics products. With their rich vitamin A content, carrots are known for fighting wrinkles, sunburns, and cell death. Vitamin A has also been known to make the skin glow, and it can be gotten from the consumption of vegetables, fruits, cheese, Eggs, oily fish, etc.

5. Soybeans

Soybeans are known to contain a high level of isoflavones. Isoflavones are known to guard the body against estrogen, hence, reduce wrinkles, and improve the elasticity of the skin. Also, postmenopausal women are advised to take enough soybeans to increase the production of collagen in their body and increase the skin’s texture as well as prevent the dryness of their skin.

Our skin is very important to our existence; it shades us from harm from our environment. Not only that, but it also has a way of boosting our ego when they glow, so it will only be fair if we take care of it in the best possible way, which is through a good diet.
