Look Who's Back: Marcus Rashford is Back with a Bang

Oct 26, 2021, 11:59:46 AM Life and Styles

We all know who Marcus Rashford is right? And we all also know that Marcus Rashford also had to undergo complicated shoulder surgery in August of this year and has therefore been absent from the playing field since the Euro Cup 2020 final defeat against Italy this year where England went out in the penalty.

Marcus Rashford has been one of the best forwards that Manchester United has ever had. After the surgery was successful, Rashford had been itching to come back and play for the club he loves. So, Manchester United has brought him back and with a bang, not a whimper. Rashford is all set to don his football boots on and bring all his extensive training to fruition with the Saturday match against Leicester City. On the other hand, it is also important to point out that the captain, Harry Maguire, had almost not been able to play, following a calf injury that had rendered him incapable of moving his leg muscles. But now he is back in training, according to reports from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who talked about it this Friday.

Solskjaer also pointed out that Rashford was in the squad and would be playing his best. Apparently, Rashford had taken the injury pretty hard mentally and has worked like a beast all through the lay off to get himself back to the position he is in now, which is pretty fit and good. He has also been at his best this entire week and with the form he has shown in the 60 minute involvement behind closed doors, he is ready to kick that ball into the goal. However, Solskjaer has also stated that he does not know yet if Rashford will be the footballer to start the match or not.

Harry Maguire, on the other hand, has started to train on the grass this week, but it is still highly unlikely that Maguire will play against his former team in any way. Apparently, there is more bad news for both the club and all the Manchester United fans awaiting the football match on Saturday. Harry Maguire's centre back partner, Raphael Varane will also not be in the fold for some weeks due to his groin being injured while playing against France. So, that is two terrible losses for Manchester United in just a few weeks. One can only hope that the club will be able to bounce back from this and that Rashford coming back will make a huge difference.

There's more actually. Yes, we know that it is getting more bleak for Manchester United but midfielder Fred and striker Edinson Cavani will also not be available following their gameplay in the World Cup qualifier between Brazil and Uruguay this Thursday.

There is not just Leicester now. There is Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City and then Atlanta in the Champions League to play against and Manchester United does not have a lot of the game changers playing this time. So, let's hope for the best and keep our fingers crossed, yeah? But, in case you want to tune in and bet on the matches, you have the best sportsbook lists at meta.reviews. Hope Manchester United springs back!
