Bloedel Conservatory is a peaceful place in our city, also known as the exotic spot in Vancouver. Home to over 200 different species of birds, 500 different types of flora (a mixture of beautiful plants and flowers), this secret garden is a combination of rainforest habitat and desert "look" terrain. The Conservatory is considered a healing garden; nature is a natural stress reliever, and this place is a natural work of art.
Brand new this year, the City brings us a delightful event, for the 2016 Holiday Season, Holiday Heights. Located at the Peak of Vancouver, overlooking a cascading sea of city lights, Holiday Heights is an event featuring the only Christmas Ferris Wheel in the City. Join the line up to elevate your soul and take your holiday spirit to new heights this holiday season. Our photographer, Joe, captured the holiday magic of this event in photos.
The conservatory is transformed into a winter wonderland, complete with festive decorations, fun festivities, glowing lights and merry music, all wrapped up in a unique, new creation of holiday splendor. We highly recommend attending this event, and taking it all in. Support the City that gives us an innovative, ever evolving place to work and play. When you go, bring a friend and be sure to partake in the Ferris Wheel ride, to get a beautiful view, from this area, overlooking the city.

Seasons Restaurant is hosting guests this year for Christmas and New Year’s Eve Dinner. Prix Fixe Menus look something like the list below, and you can also include your choice of wine pairing, for an additional fee. We love their list, which includes Chardonnay, Champagne, and 4 choices of Rose Wines.
Christmas Eve Dinner
Soup/Salad, Traditional Christmas Dinner, and Cheesecake for dessert.
Christmas Day Dinner
Charcuterie, Smoked Salmon, Green Sorbet, Prime Rib, Roast Turkey, Veggie Friendly, Eggplant Parmigiana, Lemon Pie, and Cranberry Cheesecake
New Year’s Eve Dinner
Tomato and Bocconcini Salad, Smoked Salmon, Sablefish, New York Strip Steak with Yorkshire Pudding, Chocolate Truffle Cake and Lemon Pie

The Park is open from December 9 until January 2, from 4-9Pm, daily, and closed on Christmas Day.
