For his Spring/Summer 18 collection, British luxury footwear designer ALEXANDER WHITE brings the English country garden to life with a vibrant, haute couture, eclectic collection of fashion shoes. Founded in 2014, the desinger label is internationally renowned for its elegant, timeless styles, combined with contemporary and playful silhouettes. Designed in London and expertly handmade by skilled artisans in Florence, the collections are influenced by the designer’s surroundings – from architecture to antique jewelry, always reinterpreted in a fresh and innovative way. Signature elements throughout the collections include embroidery, metallic hues and contrasting textiles.
This season, ALEXANDER WHITE draws inspiration from his personal childhood memories of growing up in the English countryside. Florals are a constant motif throughout the collection; printed on luxury Italian leathers. For White, rose gardens have always played a big part in his family life. Drawing on his grandmother’s personal style as his motivation for this collection - it is her chic and classic summer dresses that inspire the femininity of the new styles, colors and fabrics. Continuations from past collections see new colorways and heights this season in pale blue and bright fuchsia; highlighting the designer’s constant evolution of signature styles.
ALEXANDER WHITE re-imagines vintage silhouettes by incorporating new materials alongside this season’s signature floral print, specchio and patent leather.
