New York Bridal Fashion Week S/S18: Badgley Mischka Bride

New York Bridal Fashion Week S/S18: Badgley Mischka Bride

Oct 20, 2017, 1:07:07 AM Life and Styles

Badgley Mischka, the designer label known for its beautifully detailed dresses made a second appearance in New York Fashion Week: Bridal. On the final day of shows, this stand-alone event, featuring designs on display,  poised models and a special appearance by the designers, themselves, was the perfect date to save. Fashions on the Runway, during the main event, left guests impressed, and this final, showroom for bridal was equivalent to the gorgeous gowns, adorned in signature jewels that we saw presented earlier, this Fall. Photographer Stella Kim creates a photo story book look at the exclusive showroom, illustrated by looks to love.

Let us introduce you!

Sheath dresses are conservative and elegant, at the same time. Covered shoulders and sleeves are perfect for traditional weddings – those taking place in a Church. Reserved for the more thoughtful brides, these styles are conscientious and classy. Intricately detailed lace patterns give the feeling of romance, and plunging necklines allow personality to shine through.

Brides in Badgley Mischka are most endearing – with or without sleeves. We love the darling shape and cascading lace, upon soft, whisps of fabric, for unforgettable moments.

Trumpet dresses are higher fashion, and best suited to the style aficionado bride. A bit more daring with deep V-Necks and fit and flared looks, these designs are made to flaunt figures. Once again, Badgley Mischka perfects beadwork, bringing dazzling glamour to brides, just like the gowns we saw gracing the Runway.

Sleek Silhouettes remind us of the “One Zip and You’re Glamorous” slogan – We love the fashionable backs of every design too.

Ballgowns add the extra special touch that fairytales are made of, with princess-like presentation that beautifies the entire day. Badgley Mischka adds something “new” with sheer paneling in just the right places - covered to perfection, for the expected touch of class, with elegant embroidery and cascading flowers to complete the look of love.

Luxurious Satin is always in season.

And they found a way to add in our favorite, pretty jewels that we have come to know and love so much about this label. The straps on this dress are something “borrowed” from the dresses and swimsuits we are used to seeing in this line, and they complement bridal style, just as well here too. Subtle details like this are the icing on the cake.
