Step into Sophistication in Switzerland! Swissotel, Zurich is an undeniably unique accommodation, featuring brilliant, modern design, with beautiful décor and lighting. When you visit here, before you check in, check out the ceiling! The ceiling is tiled with an array of artwork, patterned with geometric mirrors. We like this hotel because of its contemporary, stylish, Swiss look and feel. Pop Question: What language do they speak in Switzerland? Visit here, and become invested in all that the area has to offer; delight in Swiss Bliss. Hotel amenities include a top floor, hotel pool, up on the 32nd floor and a fitness center.
Are you still trying to figure out what language they speak? It's a trick question; There is no, official, singular language in Switzerland. German, Italian and French, are the three, main languages spoken by residents, though, so if you know any of those, you should do okay with conversations in Zurich. We'll give you a tip about where to eat; Good options for fine dining can be found at Le Muh. Visit the hotel restaurant/bar for authentic, Swiss cuisine, and be sure to try out this, exquisite, Swiss Dish - Cheese Fondue. If you’ve never tried this one before, it’s a must do - Wine and cheese gets an upgrade to a melted blend of rich flavors. Complete it with friends, and this is the perfect, light dinner before heading out for a night on the town - Kiss the Swiss! Cheese Fondue is best paired with a sweet or sparkling, white wine or champagne, and for more casual nights, we recommend having it with beer.
Return home to the comfort of your cozy room or executive suite - Your choice. Special suites are available, for the best views of the surrounding area, and here are two of the more luxurious choices.
Pinnacle Room
The Pinnacle Rooms are located near the top floors, on floors 27 through 29. We recommend the higher floor suites at this hotel because they feature beautiful views over Zurich and the Swiss Alps. What we love even more about this hotel is the thoughtful extras that you will receive, like a pair of binoculars for expansive viewing. Pinnacle Rooms come complete with King sized beds, for a comfy sleep, after your days spent exploring the spectacular City.
Executive Suites
The Executive Suites are located on the very, top floor. These suites include fashionable furnishings and King sized beds, desirably dressed in high end, luxury linens by Frette. Guests are treated to the use of a complete, in room entertainment system, and extra space includes larger, dressing areas, built especially for the ultimate comfort, during your stay. Get out your in-room binoculars! This one offers a panoramic view of the Swiss Alps. As for little, extra, special gifts, to enhance your stay, you will find a pair of slippers awaiting you, along with your dressing gown, and each morning treats you to a complimentary breakfast, upon rising. Executive suite bookings take care of you by night, as well, with pre-dinner drinks and canapes on the house. These stays are a great way to travel with friends.
The ever festive, friendly Swissotel is celebrating this holiday season in style. Switzerland sparkles on New Year’s Eve at the hotel, with the party theme of “The Best of Le Muh.” Le Muh, is the name of the hotel resto-bar, and we’re not sure of the exact translation. Albeit, we’ve translated it more loosely, to mean that we should be celebrating ourselves, and we're calling it “The Best of Me” Celebration! Just bring friends; that's what the season is all about, good times with good people.
New Year’s Eve, Toast to Me, includes a full, six course dinner menu, complete with a midnight buffet, and a bottle of champagne to greet you in your room, upon arrival. Next day extravagance includes a New Year’s Day brunch and Oh guess what? There’s a spa in here! Credit for use at the hotel Spa is included when you book into Swissotel. Room rates are as follows: CHF 299 single/ CHF 449 double, or $394 CAD single/ $592 CAD double
