While I have never stayed in the hotel, what I remember the most from my first visit here several years ago, was that with thanks to the buffet, I had 13 plates of bacon…. I was ten years old at the time and obviously a bit of a piggy. This time around, while we still enjoyed their brunch buffet (offered on Sundays from 9:30AM to 1PM), I limited myself to just 5 pieces of bacon; it was quite the accomplishment. I did however, help myself to a ton of their Frittata Louisiane- it was DELICIOUS and I definitely recommend it. The eggs were super fluffy and with the mixture of the other ingredients, I could not get enough of it.

They offer such a variety of foods in their buffet, that you really have no trouble at all going back for a fourth or fifth round of food. The waffles were delicious, fresh fruit and vegetables were available and several other options were given for more of a “lunch” variety of dishes including a Teriyaki Beef that was a major hit at our table. I did not have room for dessert but I wish I did because they had an extremely delicious looking key lime pie dish that had me drooling on my way out. If you are craving a certain kind of egg dish, they have a station which is chef-attended so you can request whatever you would like, such as omelettes, scrambled eggs etc. If you would like eggs benedict or other dishes such as pancakes, you can request them at the beginning of the meal and they will make it for you in their kitchen.

Not only do they offer amazing food, they also have a pianist playing during your meal, playing old favorites and touching the heart strings of everyone in the room at least once with his song selection (he also accepts song requests).  His song choice had both myself and my Mother in tears at different points throughout the meal.  It also wasn’t so loud that you couldn’t hear what anyone at your table was saying; he played at the perfect volume. The service was amazing. Our waiter, Steve, was a hit to say the least- he was amicable, funny and an overall pleasure to have met. You have amazing views no matter which table you are seated at, whether you see the mountains or the beautiful gardens on their grounds. It is overall, such an amazing location and the food does not disappoint. I wish I had taken more pictures of the food, but honestly, I was too busy eating it all.  We did take quite a few photos afterwards, because the scenery that surrounds you is just beautiful.
