Hello, Feaders!

Today, I’m going to review for Blood Tide (Aquarius Rising #2) by Brian Burt sequel to In the Tears of God.

Summary/Details

Megalops is an Aquarian, a human-dolphin hybrid who lives in one of the many reef-cities that thrive beneath the waves on an Earth ravaged by climate change. Some of the Humans who cling to the barren lands blame Aquarius for their plight and unleashed the Medusa Plague that entombed Megalops's wife and daughter in stone. Tormented by that loss, Megalops dedicates everything to avenging his murdered family, no matter what the cost. He unleashes a Vendetta Virus as cruel and lethal as the Medusa Plague, a bio-weapon that transforms living Humans into Aquarian corpses.

Ocypode — one of the heroes who stopped the Medusa Plague — and his band of Human and Aquarian allies battle desperate odds to prevent Megalops from committing an act of genocide that will escalate into global conflict, dragging the Earth's other humanoid species into the chaos. War demands sacrifice. If Mother Earth and Mother Ocean wage war against each other, will anyone survive?

Review

As an avid reader of Sci-Fi, I really enjoying the moment that I read with a good story and technology, of course. The way of focusing on the advancement of certain technology that overwhelms one reader that doesn’t expect it to be in the real world is satisfying and engaging. It quite hooks me up to learn and read more about it.

Here in this book, where undersea lies a story and how each part was put well together, was quite really interesting. From this book, it only focuses on the characters and bits of new ideas sprouted. I really like the idea of undersea world thing; it brings some feelings to me although yeah I’m a fan of Poseidon thing. Maybe that. The concept of nanotechnology was quite catchy and it is well done delivered. I really enjoy reading this. And the first book, of course.

The author takes great effort on building this up and I’m really thankful for that ‘cause the story is good. I really enjoy reading this book and also the first book, In the Tears of God, Aquarius Rising Book One. I really recommend this to those people or readers like me who likes some interesting story involving apocalyptic sceneries and situation where technology existed and also a science fiction. I’m sure you’ll going to love this book.

But first, read ‘In the Tears of God’ since this isn’t a standalone and you might not get into the loop. I have read the book one though and I have its review here: In the Tears of God (Aquarius Rising #2) by Brian Burt.

Have a great reading!

My Rating: 4

Thanks for reading,

Joel
