Week 4 of the NFL season kick offs with the Cincinnati Bengals hosting the Miami Dolphins. Let's go through and see if we can find some good fantasy plays for the night. As of late I've been 50/50; so let's see if I can hit on a few more players.
Andy Dalton is a SIT for me tonight. Dalton is a solid bye week fill in type of quarterback, but I'm not sure you can go with him as your weekly guy. He'll have a big game every now and then, but I don't think that's tonight.
Ryan Tannehill seems to be fitting into Adam Gase's new offense. He is facing a tough Cincinnati defense tonight, but I think the Dolphins will throw the football enough to make Tannehill a START tonight. Tannehill should also pick up some extra points for you running the football. Hey every little bit helps.
Jeremy Hill should be the guy who gets the majority of the carries for the Bengals, but you never know. I like Hill and he's a START for me tonight, but I understand why you'd sit him. I drafted Hill in the league I co-manager and the guy I share the team with dislikes Hill so much he took him out of the line up last week without saying anything to me.
Giovani Bernard is Cincinnati's 3rd back, but seem to get more plays than that. I don't think that Bernard is a good play tonight; so I'm going to SIT him. If he's in a running back heavy league you might have to start Bernard tonight. If you have other options go with them.
Kenyan Drake is taking over for the injured Arian Foster, but there aren't enough carries in this backfield for him to be a start tonight. SIT Drake tonight and try to find another option either from your bench or on your leagues waiver wire.
Jay Ajayi has had some issues hanging onto the football. If your league has big negatives for turnovers stay away from Ajayi. He does seem to get the short yardage; goal line carries, but that's not enough to play him. SIT Ayaji tonight.
A.J. Green is one of the best wide receivers in the NFL; so this is an easy choice. Green should be a START every week.
Tyler Boyd was drafted to replace a couple of veteran receivers that where allowed to leave in free agency, but hasn't produced yet. I don't think Boyd is worth the risk tonight; so he's a SIT for me.
Jarvis Landry is the top receiver for the Dolphins and he's a guy you need to START tonight. In an offense that throws the football he'll get his targets and should put up good fantasy numbers for you.
Davante Parker can be an up and down type of receiver ; so that makes him tough to go with. If he's on you'll have a nice under the radar receiver, but if he's off you're looking at a low fantasy point total. I have Parker as a SIT tonight.
Kenny Stills is a guy a lot of fantasy experts thought would break out this season, but I don't see it. Who remembers the wide open touchdown pass he dropped in Week 1? I don't think there are enough targets to go around for Stills; so he's a SIT for me tonight.
Tyler Eifert is a SIT if he plays tonight. He's been injured the first three weeks for the season, but there is some talk he'll play tonight. He is a favorite target of Dalton's, but I have a feeling he's not going to end up playing tonight and if he does he'll be limited.
Jordan Cameron is one of those tight ends that you think should be better than he ends up being. He's banged up and there's a chance that he's not going to play tonight; so SIT him. I'm not sure he'll play enough to be a good fantasy player.
Cincinnati has a good defense, but I'm going to SIT them tonight. They're facing a team that can put up a lot of passing yards and that could mean points. I don't think they'll get enough sacks on a mobile quarterback to make them a good play tonight.
Miami should be a top defense in the NFL, but they never seem to get their. They have one of the best defensive line and can be scary. Even with that I don't think they're a good play tonight and I'm going to SIT them. I believe that Cincinnati is too well rounded for this Defense/Special Teams to rack up a lot of fantasy points.
Alright there you go. Let's see if I can d better than .500 this week. Thanks for taking the time to read this and let me know if you;re starting or sitting any of these players tonight.
