The Men's Division of The Quicksilver Pro the opening event of the World Surf League season 2017 hits the water this morning with Round 1 action coming from Snapper Rocks on The Gold Coast Of Queensland, Australia. This is the first day of the new World Surf Tour 2017 and men's competitors have been waiting the last few days, for a new swell to fill in and hit the glorious sandbank pointbreaks at Snapper Rocks.
2016 Men's World Champion John John Florence from Hawaii will hit the water later in the day for the first day of Round One competition for him in his world title defence this year.
