Every year, my dad's side of the family leaves all of our various home locations - California, Montana, Connecticut, Washington, Hawaii, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, (the list goes on) - and reunites in the best town on Cape Cod - Eastham, MA. Last night was our first night together as a family, with probably about 30 of us, squeezing into one house that overlooks the bay. My dad's cousins and aunts and uncles are some of my favorite people in the whole world, so nothing makes me happier than being up here with them.
For the reunion dinner last night, I chose to wear a navy blue midi dress from UO with a few bracelets and rings (Most jewelry is from American Eagle and is linked in my previous posts). The Cape Cod attire, at least for my family, is usually very casual, flowy, and almost always some shade of blue.
I tied the dress at the bottom to create and even more ~relaxed~ feel to match the coastal vibes of the Cape. This dress is very versatile - it's perfect for layering with bralettes and long sweaters, and it can be worn for casual or nicer occasions.
