REVIEW| A Conjuring of Light by V.E. Schwab

Hi Guys!

A Conjuring of Light is the third and final book of The Shades of Magic trilogy by V.E. Schwab. It is an adults fantasy series and it's AMAZING!

The first book was called A Darker Shade of Magic and it is about parallel worlds that are connected through their own version of London. There is Red London, White London, Grey London and Black London.

Now not everyone can move between those Londons, only the rare kind of magicians called Antari can, and we start the book by following Kell; an Antari from Red London that travels between Londons and has a habit of smuggling items between them.

I'm definitely not doing the series justice by that quick synopsis but it is absolutely amazing, if you haven't read it and you're interested in fantasy books then you should pick it up!

- A Conjuring of Light -

"In the last few months, he had become intimately acquainted with pain, and with death, but grief was new. Pain was bright. and death was dark, but grief was grey. A slab of stone resting on his chest. A toxic cloud stripping him of breath."

I was literally broken by the time I finished reading this book.

I feel like this was the perfect conclusion to an amazing trilogy.. Victoria's writing was amazing as usual, I loved to see the characters interact more and definitely loved seeing Rhy's character develop and grow.

Holland's back story was another thing that I really appreciated, it gave me more insight into his character and why he was the way he is.

"Love and loss, are like a ship and the sea. They rise together. The more we love, the more we have to lose. But the only way to avoid loss is to avoid love. And what a sad world that would be."

I would have loved the book to be a tiny bit longer to see how White London ends up like. and Black London as well.

I feel like there were some loose ends left there and it would be great to get an epilogue, so all I'm going to say to this trilogy is 'Anoshe'.

★★★★☆ 4.25/5 stars !
