Kelsey A Patterson Author On My Trending Stories

This is probably once of the hardest posts that I will ever have to write- about me! In theory, this sounds like an easy thing to do, but in actuality it is not. So, here is my attempt at telling you about myself:

I have been a Registered Dietitian for 5 years; I've worked in hospitals, long term care facilities and my current position as an RD for a college/university. I have a passion for nutrition and fitness and am hoping to become a Certified Personal Trainer in the future to fully combine these two interests. Some of my posts include workouts, some include nutrition and others are about healthy living in general- such as finding motivation to live a healthy life. I hope you enjoy my posts and are able to find useful tips, tricks and ideas for creating your own healthy living path.

*Favorite Food: Avocado at the moment

*Favorite type of exercise: Mixed Martial Arts

*Animals: One dog- German Shepherd/Border Collie Mix, named Dexter

*Favorite Sports Team(s): Michigan State University Football & Basketball

*I'm obsessed with mixed martial arts and enjoy watching UFC fights. I recently attended UFC Fight Week in Las Vegas and was able to meet many professional fighters and attend The Ultimate Fighter 23 Finale. This was an amazing experience! 

*I'm also obsessed with anything to do with dogs. If there is a dog in the room, I will most likely be talking to the dog over people. 

*I love a good Michigan Microbrew- Latitude 42 is currently my favorite Microbrewery.
