People go into ministry for different reasons. Some make the deliberate decision to work for God while others are called by God. Those who tend to make the decisions themselves usually lack the purpose that God’s grace provides.
The sad truth is that a lot of preachers these days have called themselves to ministry. They have decided that there is an opportunity for fame and fortune through fleecing the flock. That is why there is such rampant abuse and misinterpretation of the word of God in most churches.
There are false teachings being spread of how homosexuality should be accepted by the church, all in the name of accepting diversity of “opinion.” Ritualistic demonic holidays like Halloween are being practiced in the church as preachers tell their congregants that it is OK as long as you “leave out the dark magic stuff.”
There are preachers who have decided to preside over same-sex unions in their churches just to make money and please the congregants. They are more afraid of losing tithes and offerings than they are of God’s wrath. The shepherd is supposed to lead and guide the flock, yet these men and women are busy fleecing the flock and leading them astray.
True men and women of God have been called to ministry by God. Those who have gone into ministry without having a love for the Word will end preaching a people-pleasing gospel that compromises everything that Christ stood for.
These false preachers do not preach the uncompromising Word of God with power and authority, and this power and authority only can only come from the Holy Spirit.
Do not choose to work for God for selfish gain. Wait for the call, and when it comes, don’t turn away from it.
Do you want to have a personal relationship with Christ? Then you must believe that Jesus died on the cross for your sins. Repent of your sins and ask Him to come into your heart. Only Christ can reconcile you to your heavenly Father. Say this prayer:
Lord Jesus, I accept that you are the Son of God and you died on the cross for my sins. I repent of all my sins and I ask for your forgiveness. Right now I make you my Lord and Savior. Come into my heart. Fill me with your Holy Spirit. Thank you, Lord, for shedding your blood for me at the cross. Amen.
You have now become a child of God. Take the time to read your bible and find a church that teaches the word of God. Let the Holy Spirit work in you to help you become the person God created you to be. God bless you!
