Whether hate mail or death threats,
Take away our freedom,
Beat us till a full moon,
Burn our places of worship down to the ground,
Restrict our limbs,
Waterboard us for hours,

You can’t take away our faith,
You can’t stop Allah from talking to His creation,
You can’t stop us from praying (standing, sitting, or in chains),
You can’t stop us from believing (even if you force one of us to denounce),

We have had crusades waged against our mosques and nations,
Not one of them a success (we are still here)
Women raped and children stolen,
Prophet ridiculed and called a pedophile,
Handcuffed and sentenced to death,

What makes you think that a Muslim Ban,
Or the KKK in 2017 will be successful?
