New Face Mask

New Face Mask

Hello world and welcome to the first installment of "New Beauty Products"

In case you couldn't tell I recently picked up a new face mask. I got the Aria Starr Dead Sea Mud Mask and I am obsessed with it.

And before anyone asks, no I was not paid to do this, no one sent me this, I bought this with my own money, and this review is completely honest. But I mean Aria Starr if you're interested hmu we can work something out.

So I ordered it off of amazon and yes it is eligible for free 2 day shipping with prime (thank you amazon prime student, you are bae). The container is  8.8 fluid ounces and it was $17 so it was pretty affordable for how much product you get.

Their claims state that this mask is supposed to; absorb excess oil and remove dead skin, stimulate circulation, help with acne, and add necessary moisture to the skin.

So the instructions say to wash your face, then apply a thin layer and let it dry (about 15 to 20 minutes) and wash it off. Use it 1-2 times a week.

So I followed the instructions and ohhh my god.

Upon opening the package it smells so good, the ingredients are all natural and there aren't any added perfumes so the smell is from the oils and extracts that are in.

It is also very smooth and cold putting it on your face, and it's kind of hard to get it even, but since you wash it off, don't peel it off, it doesn't need to be completely even.

I have very sensitive skin, like to the point where I can't even put baby sun block on my face with out feeling like all of my pores are lighting dumpster fires in protest.

But this did not irritate my skin in the slightest bit. It was cooling and refreshing and amazing and as it hardened the cooling effect slowly went away.

Once the mask hardened it felt like my face was about to crack off if I smiled. I don't know about anyone else but I love that tightening feeling.

I washed it off by rinsing my face with warm water and it kind of took a while to wipe off completely, but once it was off and my face dried (I pat dry with a soft towel then let it air dry) my skin was so soft.

Like most people on the planet I have a fair amount of blackheads on my nose and they weren't completely gone, because that would take some serious dermatological magic.

But my pores were noticeably smaller and the parts of my skin that are normally greasy weren't anymore, but it didn't dry out the parts of my face that aren't greasy.

They claim that by using the mask on a weekly basis it will prevent wrinkling and uneven skin tones, and obviously I can't tell if it has actually done that or not because I have only used it twice, but my skin feels amazing.

I am seriously in love with this stuff.

If I could I would bathe in it.

But anyhow, I highly suggest this product it is really worth the money.
