It is of public record that the level of sophistication many managers put their team through in modern football has receive lot of accolades than the other things that made them successful. Clubs have hired managers because of their playing pattern and their philosophy to ingrain same at their ground and some have been widely successful, many have failed woefully.

The 2018/2019 premier league will most likely be won by either of Manchester City or Liverpool as both vie for the most prestigious league trophy in the continent. Liverpool have set out since game one to ensure they never let go of any chances of the team winning the league this season by reinforcing their squad while City have not fail to do the same by bringing in the likes of Riyard Mahrez to the Etihad stadium.

When either side play, the fans are thrilled by the level of attacking football that they play and they also applaud sometimes when the result doesn’t go their way. What most have however try to shy away from is the fact that the Citizens and the Reds are able to play like that because their managers and club owners have spent billions assembling stars across the world that can play to that smashing, eye catching scintillating and TV appealing football – a trend spotted by several editors of FootballPredictions.com

The managers have the idea of how they want their teams to play and they know that they can get them to play like that when they get players that have learnt the act of playing this particular way right from their young age. If they however chose to get these players from their clubs’ rich academy, they will be taking years to get them ready for the needed trophies they need to win.

When they are credited for playing this eye grabbing style, they also have to continue to admit that they were only able to do this by buy the best across the world. Tottenham under Mauricio Pochettino have been able to build a formidable team that play very entertaining football also but they are yet to win a silverware in nearly five years of his reign there.

This tells us a lot about what really makes a club successful. Frank der Boer wanted to try this similar style at Crystal Palace seasons back but could not get his team to win a game meanwhile most premier league tips expected a better result by the Dutch manager. Ole Gunnar Solksjear relegated Cardiff City when he first took charge of his first premier league managerial job but he is the messiah of Manchester United right now with his attacking football. There is a common denominator in all of this, money trumps tactics.
