What I think about this book?
I think the main concept is amazing. The idea of a person inhabiting a different body every day is downright catchy. This is the book I don't want to put down.
I can’t help but think that this book is somehow dedicated to bisexuals. Read the book and you’ll know what I mean. Nevertheless, the book stand on its own beauty.
At some point, this book made me sad. And there are times that a sigh of satisfaction escapes me because it was that beautiful. Also, there are times this book made me smile.
I found many beautiful quotes in this book. Take a look at some of the quotes here.
I love how A (the main character) sees the world. I like how it makes me feel excited every chapter because I know A would be in a different body. I like the revelation in the latter part of the book but it ended without satisfying my hunger for answers. It ended leaving me curious and thirsty for what will happen next. I was eager to read the next book after I finished it.
One of the lessons the book left me is that we shouldn't take things for granted even if it feels like that they will always be there. And what if all things that we have is as temporary as a day?
What is it about?
From the book:
I wake up.
Immediately, I have to figure out who I am. It’s not just the body—opening my eyes and discovering whether the skin on my arm is light or dark, whether my hair is long or short, whether I’m fat or thin, boy or girl, scarred or smooth. The body is the easiest thing to adjust to, if you’re used to waking up in a new one each morning. It’s the life, the context of the body, that can be hard to grasp.
Every day I am someone else. I am myself-I know I am myself – but I am also someone else. It has always been like this.
From the blogger:
For no apparent reason (YET), A inevitably changes from one to another person. A shifts to a different body every day. It is A’s normal life. Because of this unfortunate situation, it has become hard for A to have a life, memories to hold, and identity to own. As much as possible, A doesn’t like to interfere much with the person’s life whose body A is borrowing. But it was all thrown through the window when A met Rhiannon. A, that day, is borrowing Justin’s body, Rhiannon’s boyfriend, and A can’t help but notice something beautiful about Rhiannon. A decided that a day with Rhiannon wasn’t enough. Since then, A decides to know her, to see her again. A makes a decision to be completely honest with Rhiannon about everything. Rhiannon, as confused and skeptic as she is, feels there’s a reason to believe whatever A is saying. A, eventually, proved to Rhiannon everything and so, Rhiannon believed A. The problem is how can they be together if A can’t promise tomorrow, if A can be gone the next morning, if A is only there for the day?
For once in A’s life, another person aside from Rhiannon acknowledges A’s existence. It leads to other conflicts. In his effort of trying to remain hidden or unknown, someone is trying to hunt him down.
It was later revealed to A, that his ability wasn’t so limited as to a day only. Someone even offered to help A do it. He was even informed that there are others like him. But A wasn’t so sure that that someone can actually be trusted.

What I think about this book?
I was a bit disappointed because I thought the story will be continued, but this book turned out to be just the perspective of Rhiannon. It was like rereading the same story. The only difference is the chance to see things from Rhiannon's eyes and how she feels about everything. I love the ending of this book but I'm still left hanging and I want answers, I want the continuation of the story.
Maybe because I was disappointed and it felt like I was just rereading the story that I found it hard to read this book fast.
This book tells more about Rhiannon and I got to know her more. Though, I must say I am not a fan of her. I am not impressed by this character. I don't like her most of the times. And I don't agree with her decisions sometimes. Maybe that's another reason why I was slow reading it.
I just wish another book of this series would come out soon so I could read the continuation and have the answers already. :(
What is it about?
From the book:
Every day is the same for Rhiannon. She has accepted her life, convinced herself that she deserves her distant, temperamental boyfriend, Justin, even established guidelines by which to live: Don't be too needy. Avoid upsetting him. Never get your hopes up.
Until the morning everything changes. Justin seems to see her, to want to be with her for the first time, and they share a perfect day - a perfect day Justin doesn't remember the next morning. Confused, depressed, and desperate for another day as great as that one, Rhiannon starts questioning everything. then, one day, a stranger tells her that the Justin she spent that day with, the one who made her feel like a real person...wasn't Justin at all.
From the blogger:
Nothing much to add. As I told you, the difference is just the perspective. ;) Nevertheless, do not neglect reading this book. Haha.
Comments for the series:
- A fresh idea, for me at least.
- The pace is great, not too fast and not too slow.
- CLIFF HANGER!
- I like the first book better than the second one.
- Should totally have a third book.
- It will make you realize how important are the little things in life.
