Letters to myself

Dear Beautiful,

How soon should you tell someone that you love them? Every time I do so, my world stops and the phone hangs up. I am left calling out Adelle maybe she will  respond with another…hello.

I want more than just sex and your company. I want to be selfish and have you to myself. I don’t want to share; I never have and never will. I just want you.

But still I don’t want to fall for you.

How do you love a broken soul learning to love itself?  I am still struggling, desperate and messed up.

Still I ask, how soon should you tell someone you love them when you are slowly dying inside?

I am scared, maybe you will remember me when I forget you.
