We all have certain products that we just can't seem to part with, products that will bring us to tears when they run dry. Well today, I have decided to go over products I have been loving lately and gravitating towards for my everyday routine. Let me know if any of you have tried these products and what your feelings are towards them, feel free to drop a comment and subscribe.
- So first on my list is the Kat Von D Lock-It Tattoo foundation.
This foundation is BOMB on coverage and a little goes a LONG way. I purchased my last one about 3 months ago and the bottle is about 1/4 full. I only need 1 pump to cover my entire face, you may add more pumps as you desire, however the formulation of this foundation is thick so it might look caked, I recommend using as little as possible. I do not recommend this product if you use the Anastasia Cream Contour Kit because it does not apply easily and does cake up drastically.
2. Next is Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade
I love this product for my brows! I have used the brow wiz, which I also love, but I feel it runs out very quickly as oppose to the pomade; I've had the pomade for months and still have quite a bit left. This product is very creamy and easy to use. However try not to leave the cap off for too long because the product will become very dry and hard and won't be as easily to use nor as creamy.
3. Next on my list is the one and only Beauty Blender
For the longest time I always used a brush to apply foundation and one day I finally picked up this baby and she has changed my life for the better. The Beauty Blender leaves your foundation application flawless. There are no streaks, no patches, no uneven spots, it literally is the most perfect applicator for foundation and highlight/concealer. Many makeup gurus rave about it and as a dupe a lot of people say the Real Techniques Beauty Blender works just as well.
4. Kat Von D Ink Liner
I personally am not a huge fan of gel liner, I feel like it requires more precision and a steady hand as opposed to the Ink Liner which has more of a pen shape to it. I love this liner because of its shape, it sits naturally in my hand and the tip is so fine pointed and sharp the application of it is super easy. I highly recommend this over gel for beginners because you will have more control and less mess. I really like her Tattoo Liner as well but I always get Ink Liner because it is water proof.
5. Too Faced Queen Sized Mascara
I recently purchased this mascara and it has quickly become one of my favorites! It is so black and gives my lashes so much volume. This is the perfect mascara for blending your real lashes with falsies. The spoolie on this mascara is unreal, it is so huge, it literally is Queen sized. The only downfall is it is so huge, you can't really use it on your lower lashes.
6. Tartelette In Bloom Palette
When I have to be ready in 15 min, or going out, having date night or looking for an everyday neutral look, I grab this palette. The shadows are so creamy and very blendable, it allows you to create a subtle daytime look while still being able to go back in and build deeper colors on later to transition to a night time look. It has both mattes and shimmers and both dark and light colors that are perfect for summer time.
7. Kat Von D Shade Light Contour Kit
This is my all time favorite Contour kit in powder form. I also have the Anastasia powder contour kit but I prefer Kat Von D over it. The yellow highlight toned shade in the middle is my HOLY GRAIL under eye setting powder. I am so desperately waiting for Kat Von D to launch refillables because I have hit pan so hard on that shade.
8. Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer
This is probably one of the best concealers I own. I have used the Nars Concealer but for some reason it creases so bad on me and it is probably my fault but anyways, I find this one to apply so smooth and it doesn't crease at all; unless you don't set it then it will crease like crazy, so make sure you set! lol but besides that, this baby is awesome and I will continue to repurchase.
9. Lastly Lips are gonna be Colour Pop Cosmetics
This lippie is in the shade "Midi" and is one of my favorites from Colour Pop. I just recently gave in to the hype and purchased a couple of them about 2 months ago and they are definitely my go-to's. I think this lippie is a perfect nude shade with a pink undertone, and is very summer time appropriate. I applied this lippie, worked 8 hours, and ate Whataburger and came home to flawless lips. No dryness, no flaking, no smears/smudges and I did not touch up at all. For only $6 I think these bad boys will definitely become a staple in my collection.
