I never wished to become anything when I was little. I realized that the other day when someone told me she wanted to become a veterinarian when she grew up. I never thought of anything like that, but still started at an early age with the things that would dominate my life. Art of many forms.
When I was five I started taking dance and piano classes. I would immerse myself in a writing or poem before I had the sense to understand what I read, and suck on words as if it was candy. As a teenager I papered the walls with self-painted posters, photos and crocheted objects.
I lived in parallel worlds and still do, where creativity and magic remains untouched, only now as an adult I'm aware, and am using it consciously when I write, paint or take photographs.
On my website, mimmiedana.com, you can see more of what I do.
Bliss!
