CBD products are available in different varieties and brands. CBD products may also be found in different supplementary names. For instance, if you see a product given the name, phytocannabinoid oil, this simply means that it's CBD. It need not be written CBD on the label. CBD is also extracted from hemp. Therefore, you might get products indicated as hemp oil. This simply means that the CBD extracts were from the hemp plant, not cannabis plant. However, there's a huge difference between hemp oil and hemp seed oil. Consumers should pay attention to the labels. Hemp seed oil contains minimal concentrations of CBD. It doesn't work the same way as CBD oil extract. Hemp seed oil is used in skincare products and other beauty products. It actually works the same way as coconut oil.

CBD products are mainly dietary supplements. This means that one need not get medical prescriptions before use. It is, however, important to note that health experts must administer medical marijuana. You need to get a relatable diagnosis before you can be subjected to medical marijuana. Meanwhile, researchers argue that cannabidiol compounds extracted from the cannabis plant might contain traces of THS, a compound that induces psychoactive effects on the human brain. The main difference between CBD extracts from cannabis, and that from the hemp plant, is the concentrations of THC.

Society has come up with numerous misconceptions which stigmatize the use and distribution of CBD. One thing you should always keep in mind is that CBD won't make you high. It won't give you hallucinations, and it will definitely not show up during your regular drug check.

Here’s a list of some of the CBD products and how they are used.

  • Topical creams

Many manufacturers have started to add CBD on products which can be applied directly on the body. These include lotions, massage oils, and lip balms. CBD is well-known for its ability to get rid of acne, skin damage, and inflammations. When applied onto the face and body, it acts as an anti-aging stimulant. CBD also works wonders for chronic pains, joint pains, and fractures. Using CBD topical will enhance your youth and help you feel stronger as you age.

CBD topical should be applied similarly as other topical products. Apply the CBD cream generously on the face or joints for it to work efficiently.

  • Capsules

Capsules are a great way of adding CBD onto your diet. These are preferred to help in preventing the growth of cancerous cells, reduce pancreatic inflammations for diabetic patients, and relieve stress and depression. Each capsule may carry between 10-15 mg of CBD.

  • Sprays

CBD sprays have the weakest concentration of the compound, but are preferred as a daily supplement. Sprays are normally administered directly into the mouth, or otherwise as prescribed.

  • Tinctures and Concentrates

These have the highest concentration of CBD. While tinctures are in liquid form, concentrates come in solid form. They are administered directly into the mouth.

Always follow instructions given by the manufacturers.
